FEBRUARY 2019 – One of musical theatre’s favourite leading men, Jonathan Roxmouth, returns to Manila this April 13 with his brand new concert Jonathan Roxmouth, The Musicals in Concert at The Theatre at Solaire.

Following his acclaimed performance as “The Phantom” in The Phantom of the Opera in Manila in 2012, a role he reprises this year, Jonathan is set to enchant audiences in this magnificent concert with a few very special guests.

Accompanied by a live orchestra, Jonathan will perform songs from the best-loved musicals, including Bring Him Home (Les Misérables), Memory (CATS), Luck be a Lady (Guys and Dolls), Maria (West Side Story) and the most famous song from The Phantom of the Opera, Music of the Night.

Jonathan has been captivating audiences around the world for over a decade with his vocal and acting talents, and has won numerous awards including four Fleur Du Cap Awards: for Best Performance in a Musical (The Phantom of the Opera and Beauty and the Beast), Best Featured Actor in a Musical (Jesus Christ Superstar) and Best Supporting Actor in a Musical (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat).

Jonathan’s 2012 tour of The Phantom of the Opera in Manila made Far East history as he became the youngest English-speaking Phantom yet and won the Philippines Broadway World Award for his performance. He has also played leading roles in West Side Story, Evita, Chicago, Cats, Sunset Boulevard, Grease, Sweeney Todd and Buddy Holly.

Jonathan has eight recording albums to his credit and regularly performs to sell-out crowds in his native South Africa.
