Ampalaya Monologues is back this June to celebrate Pride Month. The show that brought #feels to a whole new level is returning to stage and this time they are doing it with a new purpose.

Written by Mark Ghosn and performed by Theater in Alternative Platforms, the show will feature new stories of LGBTQ+ individuals and aims to showcase the different faces of love and the bitter taste that comes with it.

#AMLoveWins will also have a pre-show that will feature some of the best spoken word artists in the scene today, including Abby Orbeta and Louise Meets of Words Anonymous, Mark Dimaisip of Loudmouth Collective, and Alfonso Manalastas to name a few.

It’s not all heartaches and bitterness though, because just like any other Ampalaya Monologues show, this one promises to leave you happy, inspired and most importantly, proud. The show also serves as a fundraiser for the 2016 Metro Manila Pride Festival.

And what better place to celebrate Pride than in O-Bar Ortigas, a fun place that is known in the LGBTQ+ community in promoting diversity and equality.

Ampalaya Monologues #LoveWins is happening on June 19, 2016 Sunday , 4:00-10:00PM. Ticket is at 300Php only. For more info visit their Facebook page here.
