On behalf of the Jellicle Blog, I’d like to thank you, dear Jellicle Readers for your entries and for sharing your most favorite Sherlock Holmes story. I know how hard it is to choose the best story, as all of Sherlock’s novels are game-changers in detective/mystery literature during its time.

Indeed, Doyle’s iconic character has surpassed generations of readers and followers.

The Jellicle Blog would like to thank Repertory Philippines and Team Asia for graciously providing us the prizes.

Rep Philippines' THE GAMES AFOOT

As promised, we can only choose ONE winner to receive the 2 OPENING NIGHT TICKETS. As much as I want to have everyone who posted their thoughts in the comment field, The Jellicle Blog can only give out a pair for now.

And the winner is…..

(drumroll please)

Camille’s most favorite story is A SCANDAL IN BOHEMIA, and what we particularly like about her insight is that she took note of how a female character (Irene) “outwitted” most of the men. This characterization, somewhat makes Doyle’s series ahead of its time for its unconventionality (possibly intended for humor) when it comes to gender roles in literature.

So there you have it, Jellicle Readers and Listeners. Til the next contest!
