Of course, we all know now that Sandra Bullock bagged the Best Actress in a Leading Role this year in the Academy for the film The Blind Side (2010). Her acceptance speech last Sunday night was not only funny, but also humbling. And who would not laugh at her another attempt to surprise Streep with another infamous kiss!

Little, however, does everyone know that the night before the Oscar's, Sandra was nominated and won the Razzie Award for Worst Actress.
Just a backgrounder: the Razzie Award (a.k.a. the Golden Raspberry Award), like the Oscar's, is an anual event that gives out recognitions to the worst actress of the previous year.
Since 1980, they have been tagging Hollywood names with the year's worst performances by an actress. Some of which were and are still highly respectable.
Just to name a few were Brooke Shields, Deborah Raffin, Madonna, Faye Dunaway, Liza Minelli and even Whoopi Goldberg!
Understandably, invitations from the Raspberry awards committee, can easily be brushed off even by the most desperate actress-nominee.
Since it started, only two nominated actresses actually came and graced the ocassion. Halle Berry for Catwoman (2004) and Sandra Bullock for All About Steve (2010).
Sandra's acceptance speech was soooooo hilarious! Her attack on the thought of being this year's Worst Actress is something that is fitting to the concept of this outrageous award-giving-body!
Best or worst…that for me is a true winner!!!
Gotta love Sandra!
