Just finished R.J. Cutler's The September Issue. Whew!
Of all the things Wintour said about fashion and its relation to life and culture, I say what Grace Coddington said on the same point was more thought about and universal:
"Personally, I think it's better that you're not skinny, skinny. To me, it much more makes the point than…that you're real people and not…models. Everybody isn't perfect in this world. I mean, it's enough that the models are perfect. You don't need to go to the gym!"
If she's our Fashion prophet (and not some boxed, structured, self-proclaimed artist who views fashion as a new form of art and science) I will be her high-priest.
